AFP-AL Congratulates Governor-Elect Tommy Tuberville, Looks Forward to Working Together on an Agenda that Works for All Alabamians
MONTGOMERY, AL – Americans for Prosperity-Alabama (AFP-AL) today congratulated Coach Tommy Tuberville on his election as Alabama’s next governor and thanked him for putting together a governing agenda that overlaps with AFP-AL’s 2027 priorities. In particular, AFP-AL’s 2027 priorities and the Playbook agree on Certificate of Need reform, expansion of the CHOOSE Act, lower taxes and regulatory reform.
AFP-AL State Director Adam Thompson released the following statement:
“On Tuesday, Alabamians sent a clear message that they want a state government that delivers for all Alabamians. Fortunately, Coach Tuberville’s Playbook includes many of AFP-AL’s priority policies that will do just that. We look forward to working with the governor-elect, his team, and the state legislature to enact the proven limited government policies that will make Alabama a sweet home for freedom.”
