AFP-AL Announces State Legislature Endorsements
MONTGOMERY, AL – Today, Americans for Prosperity-Alabama (AFP-AL) endorsed Rep. James Lomax (HD-20), Rep. Matt Simpson (HD-96), and Lloyd Peeples (HD-48) for election to the Alabama House of Representatives.
AFP-AL State Director Adam Thompson released the following statement:
“James Lomax, Matt Simpson, and Lloyd Peeples will be champions for Alabama families. They will advocate for educational freedom, as well as regulatory, tax and health care reforms. AFP-AL looks forward to leveraging its capabilities to connect with voters and share how these candidates will help expand freedom and opportunity for all Alabamians.”

Rep. James Lomax (HD-20)
Rep. Lomax is in his first term and was recently appointed as House Majority Whip, demonstrating that he is already capable of being a strong policy champion. He has supported school choice, the end of judicial deference, lower taxes, and regulatory reform.
Rep. Matt Simpson (HD-96)
Rep. Simpson has served in the Alabama House of Representatives since 2018. Since then, he has been a strong ally on legislation relating to school choice, regulatory reform, judicial deference and tax reform.
Lloyd Peeples (HD-48)
Peeples is a former assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama where he spent 18 years as a federal prosecutor. He is also a small business owner and an outspoken advocate for education, regulatory and health care reform.
