AFP-AL Applauds Alabama Senate for Passing SB197
MONTGOMERY, AL – Americans for Prosperity-AL applauds the Alabama Senate for passing SB197, which will make it easier for food trucks to operate in the state. The bill will remove unnecessary red tape that currently requires food truck operators to get additional local permits for operating in new counties, even if temporarily.
AFP-AL State Director Adam Thompson released the following statement:
“AFP-AL would like to thank Sen. Dan Roberts for his leadership on getting this bill passed. Small businesses are the backbone of the Alabama economy, and we should be doing all we can to make it easier, not harder, for them to succeed. We urge the House to take up this bill quickly.”
